Solar Toaster is an alternative Jewelry and Accessories brand run by Sara Moran, a twenty-two-year-old full-time college student studying craft and design, majoring in glass. Solar Toaster has been making and selling jewelry for five years now. Her aspersions are to turn this into a full-time business where she can provide beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces and have a lifetime career, working in glass and mixed media.

Sara's artistic journey in glass began at Sheridan College, where she immersed herself in the Craft and Design program. During her third year, she discovered Hanscomb Glass and was welcomed as a summer co-op student. Captivated by the passion and creativity of the team, Sara chose to remain with Hanscomb after her co-op period, working part-time in torch work. With a deep love for jewelry art and the enchantment of glass, Sara continues to refine her craft, now channelling her skills into her small business, Solar Toaster, where she blends artistry and glasswork into unique, handcrafted pieces.

At Solar Toaster Artistry(ST), we blend the art of flameworked glass with mixed media to create distinctive, customizable jewelry, accessories, and wearable pieces. Solar Toaster's work focuses on natural themes and cottage core styles using bold colours to express the beauty of the world around us. ST is dedicated to crafting one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect creativity and self-expression while pushing the boundaries of traditional design to offer our customers a truly unique experience. Through passion, innovation, and craftsmanship, we aim to promote personal style and empower our community to wear art that speaks to their soul.
